CLASS
DESCRIPTIONS
A variety of media will be used
in classes which includes, but is not limited to: oil and chalk pastel,
charcoal, watercolor, design marker, graphite, colored pencil and collage.
All supplies and materials included in tuition.

FIRST STEPS (Ages 3-4) – Our youngest artists have fun
experimenting with different art media while improving hand eye coordination,
problem solving, and sequencing.
* GETTING READY (Ages 4-6) – An introduction to representational
drawing geared to the attention span and motor coordination of the youngest
child. Children master the ability to recognize the elements of shape
and combine them in drawing animals, characters and still life.
* BASIC MONART (Ages 6-10) – A representational
drawing class in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere that starts with
learning the basics and easily progresses into intermediate projects.
Students will draw from 3-dimensional objects, photos, illustrations and
their imaginations.

INTERMEDIATE MONART (AGES 7-12) - In this advanced class, students
will create mixed media projects while focuses on techniques to further
their skills. Lessons will involve drawing from still-life, learning about
perspective and proper material usage. Some drawing experience required.
* BASIC / ADVANCED MONART (Ages 10 - Adult) – Beginner
students expand their knowledge of drawing objects using Monart basics
in this guided drawing class. Lessons focus on a variety of subjects (animals,
still life, the human form, landscapes, and cityscape, etc.)
* MONART FOR HOMESCHOOLERS (Ages 4-6 & 7-12) –
